Terry "The Duke" Bartholomew is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt, and Professional MMA Fighter. Terry earned his Black Belt in 2018 from Professor Vicente Junior, and Professor Chris Bower. Terry most recently won the Shogun Fights Bantamweight Title. He began his competitive grappling career at age 11 as a wrestler. Though he spent his first year having not achieved a single win, he stayed with it. Being the oldest of five siblings, he attributes to his parents his belief that any goal can be achieved with proper time and dedication. He threw himself into intense conditioning and off-season training, and the payoff was huge for his high school career. He finished with four Frederick County golds, multiple regional placements, and in his senior year earned a silver medal in the Maryland State Finals. He also spent time wrestling at the D3 College level.

Coach Terry leads our Youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Program, and assists with Boxing, Kickboxing, Wrestling, and MMA classes.

Terry is also available for Private lessons for Boxing, Kickboxing, Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, and MMA.
